Mabe made a complete renewal of their washing machine program. KTL was selected to develop and supply a new and more efficient assembly line with an integrated advanced product test system. Some of the targets were:

• Reduce cycle time from 40 to 15 sec per unit.
• Reduce from 85 persons on the line to 40.
• Reduce minimum batch size from 2000 to 100 units.
